Adib Shoaii, a Baha'i citizen in Mashad has been arrested and taken to an unknown location.

According to HRANA news agency, on the morning of 6th of October 2012 intelligence officers came to the home of Baha'i scholar Adib Shoaii. After searching his home and seizing a computer, as well as religious documents and photographs, Adib Shoaii was placed under arrest and taken to an unknown location.

زندانی سیاسی بلوچ هاشم خرد 26 ساله که در جریان یورش وحشیانۀ 17 مرداد ماه گارد ویژه زندان و سایر نیروهای سرکوبگر به بند 5 زندانیان سیاسی و عقیدتی زاهدان صورت گرفت یکی از چشمان خود را از دست داد. این زندانی سیاسی به دلیل عدم انتقال به بیمارستان و عدم درمان چشمش بینایی خود را از دست داده است.

Security forces arrested two civil activist this afternoon July 8th and shut down the internet cafe from where their activities were conducted. Aabid Zarei, a Kurdish student civil activist and Ali Taseh, a civil activist were arrested.

Aabi Zarei was recently threatened with arrest as a result of his support for Mohammad Sadeegh Kaboudvand and his efforts to raise public attention and support around his case. Zarei was previously barred by the revolutionary court in Sananjad from government posts due to his activism.

سیما سمر، رئیس کمیسیون مستقل حقوق بشر افغانستان، خواهان بازداشت کسانی شده است که اخیرا خانه های شماری از مهاجران افغان را در شهر یزد در مرکز ایران آتش زده اند.
خانم سمر در گفتگویی که روز یکشنبه از تلویزیون طلوع پخش شد، دولت ایران را مسئول تامین امنیت مهاجران افغان در این کشور دانست و تاکید کرد که باید عاملان این حمله، به عنوان مجرم شناسایی و بازداشت شوند.
