Elections Monitoring in Iran - Pocket Guide

2013/07/09

The Nabz-Iran “Citizen Oversight of Elections Pocket Guide” is an easy, portable reference tool for observing and reporting on elections violations, including before, the day of, and after the elections. This pocket guide was first published before the 2013 presidential elections, but it is still a reliable resource for monitoring other elections in Iran as well.

Just like millions of people around the world, you can participate in the process of elections beyond just casting a vote -- you can monitor and evaluate elections. Public demand for improving the elections process can be partly addressed through monitoring elections violations and drawing attention to them. Accurate observation and reporting of elections happenings are a valuable way to participate in the elections process.
Nabz-Iran allows users to gather and submit reports of elections violations anonymously. These reports will be made available to the public through social media and an interactive map.
